Celebrate your inner fabulousness!

Today a nod of respect must go to a man I don't see on my bus very often, but when I do, he always makes me smile. I say man because nature made him one, and that much is obvious, but he is choosing to dress as a woman. He wears pastel coloured jeans and a smattering of glittery accessories, or occasionally like yesterday, he makes a brave foray into the world of skirts. Not a vulgar mini skirt with fishnets, teamed with overly ripe blusher and red nails, a mistake many cross dressers make (trying far too hard; most women don't overdo it to this extent so it's a dead giveaway when a man does it) but a long black hippy type skirt, teamed with a white blouse, pearl earrings and a dainty white straw hat. I salute this fellow human being, because he has chosen to defy convention and wear exactly what he pleases, and this is a good thing. Unlike the lady who chose the bus as a suitable place to cut her fingernails this morning. This is NOT a good thing. Learn a lesson from Skirt Man and have a little decorum please. Today's photo is not mine, but I like it, for obvious reasons.
